Kevin Fernandez

I am a trained pianist and guitar teacher.  I teach a multiple of genres including rock, blues, pop, jazz, and classical. I graduated with a degree in music at Rutgers and have over 30 years of composition and performance experience. I help students of all ages learn to play songs, and also learn both the rhythm and song arrangement. I also teach students different techniques for composing their own music, if they express interest. 

I have performed in original bands at multiple venues, some of them include opening up for The Mission at the Trocadero in Philadelphia and also performing with The Dickies and The Vibrators. I have also arranged and composed music for various dancers and artists at Ballet Forte and I performed live at the New Jersey Performance Arts Center (NJPAC). 

Besides playing piano, I have been playing guitar, bass and synths for over 25 years, and on my spare time I like to play various instruments and compose songs at my recording studio, as well as create videos with my original film music.
